📜 List of Smileys added in Emoji version 5.0 📜

Version 5.0 was released on 🐝 May 18, 2017 and contained 239 new emojis. On 🌈 June 20, 2017, Unicode added an encoding for 56 new emojis.

For the first time in Version 5.0, the emoji of fairy-tale creatures, such as 🧚 Fairies, 🧝 Elves, 🧞 Genies and others, were added. But not all mythical creatures received the support of skin tone, but only those characters who are considered as people, for example magicians. The genies, in turn, didn’t receive support for changing skin tones, since they are magical creatures. Also in the new version flags of 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland and South Wales appeared.
