Emoji Version 11.0


Starting with Emoji Version 11.0, the emoji character set is synchronized with the Unicode standard and has one version numbering system. Version 11.0 was released on 🌈 June 5, 2018 and contained 145 new emojis, they were also added to the Unicode encoding.

For the first time, it was Version 11.0 that added emojis describing the color and structure of hair.

Symbola font could be found in all emoticons before Emoji Version 10.0 and was a font of public domain. Starting with Emoji Version 11.0 in 2018, Symbola is protected by copyright with a ban on commercial use and derivative works.
