📩 International Internet-Free Day
There are many major holidays throughout the year, and as many know, there is Internet Day. But don’t forget or ignore the fact that there is another small holiday with a fixed date. Instead, it is celebrated annually by online communities on the last Sunday of January and is called World Day Without Wi-Fi.
Its idea is quite simple: this holiday aims to make people around the world put away their smartphones, turn off their computers, and live fully in the so-called “real” world for at least one day. On this day, live communication is welcomed. Or, for example, you can practice your favorite hobby that isn’t connected to the World Wide Web or take a walk around the city. But, no matter what you do, the main thing on this day is to distance yourself as much as possible from the virtual world.
In honor of this holiday, there are several thematic smileys in the Emoji library. Remember this day: in the morning, mention it online, enhance the text with Emoji smileys, and get down to business that won’t be connected to the Internet. Our real 🗺 World isn’t so bad that you should wander in the virtual one all the time.
