๐Ÿš€ Astronomy Day Emojis Collection

This event is celebrated by professionals and astronomy enthusiasts of a fairly old discipline and is held twice a year. The first time is spring, and the second is autumn. The spring period is between mid-April and mid-May, and the autumn one is scheduled between mid-September and mid-October.

This event was started in 1973 by Doug Berger (aka the president of the Astronomical Association of Northern California). He declared that it wasnโ€™t necessary to visit distant worlds in order to discover space; it was enough to set up a good and affordable ๐Ÿ”ญ Telescope at home and watch the planets from your bedroom. In addition, he promised to set up such telescopes in parks, shopping malls, and other busy urban locations so that at any moment, everyone could enjoy views of the โญ Stars. Thus, astronomy day was established.

During these two periods in many countries, various scientific museums, observatories, and planetariums hold huge events that are very popular among the population. Their goal is to increase the importance of astronomy as a science and awareness of our vast and mysteriously beautiful ๐Ÿš€ universe.
