The animated science fiction sitcom follows the misadventures of grandfather, Rick, and his grandson, Morty, who travel through different dimensions and participate in crazy scientific experiments. Morty is a victim of circumstances, because it isnโt his fault that he is the grandson of an alcoholic and genius Rick.

- The pilot of the animated series was written in just a few hours.
- The creators were inspired by such series as
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ The Simpsons ,๐ง Adventure Time , and Wren and Steampie. - Maybe
๐ฆ๐ง Gravity Falls and Rick and Morty are connected. So, in one of the Gravity Falls episodes, a๐ Notebook , a mug and a๐ Pen are sucked into the portal, and already in the Rick and Morty episode โClose Rick-counters of the Rick Kindโ the same objects fly out of the portal.
