Earth Hour

Earth Hour is an annual international action held by WWF on the penultimate or last Saturday of 🌷 March to save the Earth's ecology. For the first time, this event was organized in 2007, and already in 2009, it became a large-scale mass action.

Interesting fact: 💡 The light is also indicatively turned off on such famous monuments as the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, the Great Wall of China, the Egyptian pyramids, the Empire State Building skyscraper, the Eiffel Tower, etc.

The most important symbol on this day is traditionally considered a blackout for one hour by not indifferent people around the 🌎 world. Annually, this action attracts about 2 million participants from more than 180 countries.
